Day 5 – God is All Present; Lust is Only in Sinners
No one lusts alone. God is all present. Remember that He is with you and seek to please Him, and you'll kill the lust in your heart.
Genesis 1:1 – In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.
God has always lived, even before creation. He is the Creator and is independent from His creation. Creation needs Him. He does not need His creation. “Need” is a word that describes creatures, not God.
Psalm 139:7-10 - 7 Where shall I go from your Spirit? Or where shall I flee from your presence? 8 If I ascend to heaven, you are there! If I make my bed in Sheol, you are there! 9 If I take the wings of the morning and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, 10 even there your hand shall lead me, and your right hand shall hold me.
Jeremiah 23:23-24 - 23 “Am I a God at hand, declares the Lord, and not a God far away? 24 Can a man hide himself in secret places so that I cannot see him? declares the Lord. Do I not fill heaven and earth? declares the Lord.
Romans 8:38-39 - 38 For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
God, being greater than His creation, He is outside of time and space. Yet, He has chosen to freely fill all of time and space. No one can hide from God. He sees all things, whether good or evil.
